Una vez en Barcelona, espero que venga para filmar el final feliz que anhela.

Confiando en que ambas cumpliremos nuestros proyectos, busco en su pasado formas de desenredar el futuro.

Durante años, deambulamos entre diversas formas de migrar, entre Argentina y Cataluña, entre tener un proyecto y poder cumplirlo.

Liliana is my Catalan teacher in Buenos Aires, but she doesn’t like living there. In class, we talk about our plans to move to Catalonia, but hers are fraught with insurmountable obstacles. Intrigued by her struggles, I film her.

Once in Barcelona, I hope she’ll come so I can film the happy ending she longs for.

Trusting that we’ll both see our projects through, I search her past for ways to untangle the future.

For years, we’ve wandered between different ways of migrating, between Argentina and Catalonia, between having a plan and being able to carry it out.
